At Victory Gardens, we sell convenience.
Victory Gardens has a knack for getting featured outside of our general market. I’m getting ready to head back to South Windsor for the Grower’s Supply October CEA School. I always say I’ll use the same slide show as last time, but then I find ways to improve the presentation. What I said two years ago and throughout all of the speeches so far is all relevant. But, I’m getting more & more focused, our story is ever expanding, and I hope I’m connecting better with people.
Each time a new PowerPoint is made, I get to review the past. Going over all of the photos reminds me how far the farm has come in a short time. As you watch this video you can see the growth & evolution of our salad program. Each week was an improvement.
One of the fortunate things we did at Victory Gardens
Daily photographs of every build, event, salad, crop, and general life around the farm. I highly encourage you to take multiple shots a day. This is your farms Golden Age. How nice would it be for future generations, customers, & employees to have a virtual scrap book of the farm’s history? When you jamb so many memories in together, it’s nice to have these images.
I am fortunate that this:
The photo was taken the first few minutes I first saw a hydroponic set up in the Grower’s Supply South Windsor, CT. Look at that insane look on my face. The wheels were smoking that week for sure. I can laugh at myself now, but I remember that feeling of what if, should I, & will this work. This video shows all events & people aligned for a reason.
Keeping this one short so you can enjoy the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GNyXqq36JA
